Caring Feathers runs six small children’s homes in London and Derby for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Every home is rated Good by Ofsted. We are always looking for warm, steady people to join our teams.
Small homes, real relationships
Two to four children per home, so you know every child and they know you.
Training that counts
Level 3 Diploma funded for support workers who do not yet have it, plus safeguarding, Team Teach and first aid.
Family-run, not corporate
Decisions are made by people you can speak to, and your ideas are heard.
Clear progression
Support worker to senior, team leader, deputy and registered manager, with Level 5 funded for managers.
Open roles
We are a safeguarding employer. Every appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS check with a children’s barred list check, two references including your most recent employer, a full employment history, and the other checks required by the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015. Our application form collects these up front so we can move quickly. A software tool helps us sort applications, and a person makes every decision. Read our candidate privacy notice.
How applying works
Apply online
About 15 to 20 minutes. You can save and come back.
We read it
We aim to reply within five working days with a decision or a question.
Interview
Book a slot that suits you. We will send a reminder and tell you what to bring.
Checks
DBS, references, right to work and qualifications. We chase these so you do not have to.
Start
Induction in your home with a buddy, and your Level 3 enrolment if you need it.
